- 16 zucchini flowers
- 200 g of feta
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons starch
- 2 eggs
- mineral water
- frying oil
- coarse salt
Cut the feta cheese into pieces.
Wash the flowers gently and dry them. Remove the pistil and the stamens, fill with feta and fold down the end of the petals.
Mix the flour, starch, eggs, water, pepper and nutmeg until a smooth paste is obtained. Heat the oil to 160 ° C. Dip the flowers in the mixture and fry for 3 to 4 minutes.
Place on paper towels and sprinkle with coarse salt before serving.
