Galette of the pear hazel kings

A cake that changes the ordinary! Pears and a little hazelnut powder will add a touch of originality to your dessert.


  • 2 rolls of puff pastry
  • 1 egg yolk
  • For garnish :
  • 6 pears
  • 3 eggs
  • 80 g of sugar
  • 125 g of hazelnut powder
  • 40 g of butter
  • 1 bean


Peel and cut the pears into cubes.

In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture whitens.

Add the hazelnut powder, melted butter and pears.

Unroll the first puff pastry on a plate, spread the filling and place the bean.

Cover the cake with the second dough. Weld the edges with a little water or egg whites if necessary.

Brush the top of the cake with the egg yolk, using a brush.

Bake 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven at 200 ° C.

Serve warm or cold.
